Membership

Membership of the Chamber is open to registered companies which meet the Chamber’s stringent conditions for good corporate citizenship. Upon payment of the prescribed fees; and passing through the screening process of the Membership Committee. The Council normally admits members on the recommendation of both the Membership Committee and the Executive Committee.

Membership Benefits

The value of the Chamber, apart from its continuous effort on behalf of its entire members and the business community at large, depends on the specific demands made of it by its members and individual services as maintained by the Chamber’s secretariat. Such services include answering enquiries on business introduction etc., and all these are dealt with in strict confidence.

  • It provides a unique forum for business interaction among its members within the Territory, the country and internationally.
  • It provides advisory services on matters relating to the business and industry directly or indirectly at very minimal cost (if any).
  • Letters of introduction are issued to members or other representatives traveling abroad or within the country.
  • Numerous directories, trade journals and periodicals from virtually every country in the world are available to members who may have access to such publications at the Chamber’s Secretariat.
  • It organizes national and international trade mission, exhibitions and seminars on behalf of members.
  • Standing Committees and Trade Groups are in existence covering a wide variety of business interest which are of special or general value to members.
  • Members receive free of charge the chamber‘s business Bulletins.

Category A: Gold Members N500, 000/N50, 000
Benefits:

  • Can vote and be voted for.
  • Priority provision during chamber activities.
  • Advocacy roles on related issues on behalf of the company with government.
  • Entitled to first advantage on ALL chamber’s activities/services as the case may be.
  • 20 per cent discount on space participation at the Annual Abuja International Trade Fair
    or/and on any Foreign Trade Missions.
  • Glass/ Crystal Membership Certificate.
  • Right of Choice on selected chamber’s activities/ programmes.
  • Freebies (Scarf, Cufflinks, Tie Pins, Customised Chamber’s Shirt).
  • Direct link to company’s website from the official chamber’s webpage.

Category B: Silver Members N350, 000/N50, 000
Benefits:

  • Can vote and be voted for.
  • Advocacy roles on company’s related issues with the government.
  • Priority provision during ALL chamber’s activities/services as the case may be.
  • 20 per cent discount on space participation at Annual Abuja International Trade Fair
  • Glass/ Crystal Membership certificate

Category C: Bronze Members N250, 000 /N50, 000
Benefits:

  • Can Vote but cannot be voted for.
  • Special provision during chamber’s activities/ services as the case may be.
  • 10 per cent discount on space participation at Annual Abuja International Trade Fair.
  • Membership Certificate.
  • Freebies (Scarf, Cufflinks, Tie Pins and Customised Chamber’s Shirt).

Category D: Brass Members N150, 000/N20, 000
Benefits:

  • Cannot vote and be voted for.
  • Membership Certificate.
  • Corporate Brand (Scarf, Cufflinks and Tie Pins based on request @N5, 000 each).

Payment of Membership registration fee can be done at the ACCI secretariat with Certified Bank Draft in favour of Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry or Transfer to the Account Details viz: Eco Bank Plc, Account Number: 2202003907.
