All is now set for the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, GCON to officially declare the 2018 Abuja International Trade Fair (AITF) open tomorrow, Thursday, 27th September, 2018.
Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, CON., SAN, the President of the Chamber in a press statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday said the Fair will provide a great opportunities for inventors, exhibitors and visitors to come face to face with each other, build enduring connections and discuss current trends across the participating sectors.
According to statement, Tue Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Muhammad Bello will be the Chief Host while the National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Iyalode Alaba Lawson will be the Chairperson of the occasion.
Other key government functionaries billed to grace the event are the Ministers of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah; Agriculture and Rural Development Minister, Chief Audi Ogbeh.
The event is billed to hold at the newly constructed ACCI International Convention Centre by 10:00am.
“The 2018 exposition provides a lucrative platform for entrepreneurs, manufacturers, traders, device providers, dealers, buyers, contractors and others in business in Nigeria and from other countries to meet, negotiate, make contacts, deals and great business plans for the present and the future, exchange ideas on new trends, transact businesses as well as enter into partnerships and joint ventures”, the President said.
The theme of this years Fair is: “Enhancing SMEs in Agribusiness Through Innovative Technology” and it will hold from 26ty September to 7th October, 2018.
