The President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, PhD, on Thursday received a two-man delegation from the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB Group) at the Chamber’s Secretariat in Abuja.
The delegation, led by the Adviser to the Head of Service, Mohammed Salah, visited the Chamber to formally extend an invitation to the ACCI and its members to participate in the upcoming IsDB Group Day in Nigeria scheduled to be held in March 2026 in Lagos.
Welcoming the delegation, Obegolu expressed appreciation to the IsDB Group for the invitation and reaffirmed the Chamber’s readiness to collaborate in promoting opportunities for its members across key sectors of the Nigerian economy.

The IsDB Group Day in Nigeria is being organized by the Islamic Development Bank Group in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Finance to bring together key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors. The forum aims to strengthen collaboration with Nigeria and showcase the Bank’s services, including development financing, trade facilitation, investment insurance, SME financing, infrastructure development support, and capacity-building initiatives.
The event will take place at the Legend Curio Collection by Hilton.
The ACCI President was joined in receiving the delegation by members of the Executive Committee, Council, and the management team of the Chamber.
