Eid-El-Fitri: ACCI Extends Warm Greetings to Muslims, emphasizes the need for sustained private sector development

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) sends its congratulations to Nigerians and the Muslim faithful nationwide on the successful completion of the month-long Ramadan fast and highlights the critical importance of continued development within the private sector.

The President of ACCI, Chief Emeka Obegolu SAN, PhD, in a press statement released to mark the significance of the Eid-el-Fitri celebrations, urges the government to prioritise the sustained growth of the private sector as a surefire way to propel the country towards prosperity.

While acknowledging the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen this sector, he stresses the necessity of implementing pro-business policies that will foster an environment conducive to economic vibrancy and the ease of doing business.

Chief Obegolu, SAN, PhD calls upon all Muslim faithful to utilise this period to offer fervent prayers for peace and unity in our nation.

He also emphasises the importance for all Nigerians to seize this occasion as an opportunity to promote national integration, recognising that Eid-el-Fitr stands as a time of love and goodwill.

The Leader of the Organised Private Sector in the Federal Capital Territory extends an invitation to all well-meaning individuals across Nigeria to attend the upcoming Chamber’s event which include; economic policy event titled “Strengthening the Naira,” scheduled for the 24th of April at the ACCI complex.

“This event aims to facilitate comprehensive discussions and analysis of the prevailing economic climate in our country, seeking strategies to enhance its global competitiveness.”

He also used the opportunity to call on business minded people to prepare for the upcoming 19th Abuja International Trade Fair with the theme, “Mobility: Option for Transportation, Trade Finance and Taxation,” scheduled to hold from September and October 2024.
