Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has lauded the election of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA) President, Chief Ide John Udeagbala, NPoM, KSJI to serve as an Ex-Officio member of the council of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Chambers Federation.

In a congratulatory statement signed by the President of ACCI, Dr Al-Mujtaba Abubakar on Monday in Abuja, he said the appointment of Chief Udeagbala would help ACCI and other Chambers in Nigeria to connect with other Chambers across the globe for business networking, garner more knowledge and promote corporate governance.

The ICC is a global forum connecting a global network of Chambers and their businesses with 100 country members of the International Chambers of Commerce.

Chief Udeagbala was elected at NACCIMA 61st yearly conference in June 2021 as the 21st President of the Nigeria Apex Chamber.

Chief Udeagbala, an industrialist is the Chairman of J. Udeagbala Holdings, a holding name for an indigenous conglomerate comprising six subsidiaries. He us an alumnus of the Harvard University School of Business Administration, USA, having successfully completed the Advanced Management Programme (1997).

He won the National Productivity Merit Award (NPOM), in the Business Productivity category, in 1996. In the economic environment, under which manufacturing industries operate in Nigeria, his quest for excellence has earned one of his company’s subsidiaries an award by the Central Bank of Nigeria as the Best SMEIS, 2008
