As Muslims celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the President of Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, CON., SAN has felicitated with them on the auspicious occasion.

In a message, Prince Kayode said the renewed energy and vigour derived from the fasting period should be channeled into the development of the nation’s economy and the country at large.

He emphasised that, the gradual reopening of the economy is coinciding with the end of the fasting which signifies that both are meant to refocus the course of human existence in Nigeria.

Prince Kayode, therefore enjoined the Muslim ummah in Nigeria to key into the developmental agenda of the present administration and also key into the efforts of the Chamber in order to maximally contribute to national development.

“On the occasion of the celebration of this year’s Eid Fitr, I wish our members, staff and the entire Muslim community a joyous celebration.

“Let me also use this opportunity to enjoin that we all contribute maximally to economic development of the country as Nigeria gradually re-opens her economy amidst the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) which slowed down all our efforts in this regard.

“My belief is that, the coincidence in the gradual reopening and end of the holy month of Ramadan means all efforts will now be geared towards contributing our respective quarter towards rebuilding our economy”, Prince Kayode noted.

ACCI is a ‘Grade A’ chamber of commerce in Nigeria which is engrossed in the task of economic development by giving maximum support to members to impact positively on their businesses.
